Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Each year, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival features marketplaces with ethnic cuisine samplings from the top "foodie" cities of the world. More than 25 international marketplaces from Hawaii to Belgium will offer tasty treats at the 18th anniversary of the event and chefs will be debuting the tastes of Scotland.

Festival Highlights

The Festival Welcome Center will again host daily wine seminars, bottle signings, author events and culinary demonstrations. Eat to the Beat! concerts will again entertain guests three times nightly at America Gardens Theatre. World Showcase will be the backdrop for performers from many countries as they sing, dance, perform arobatics and comedy for the festivities. A sampling of entertainment includes:

Along with the entertainment showcased at Epcot pavilions and special exhibits, festival guests can enjoy Eat to the Beat! concerts performed each evening at America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase. The evening concerts are scheduled daily at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 p.m. and are included with regular Epcot admission.

Summer pleasant sea breezes bring refreshing coolness. Today, Miami - is one of the most fashionable resorts in the world. It houses the world's richest people, movie stars and tycoons. The city quickly changing its appearance (especially the area of South Beach) and claimed the right to be called the coolest place in the USA. New quarters of the city, the reconstruction of old areas, a pleasant friendly atmosphere reigning in the streets, cultural programs and bright sunshine all year round make Miami a pleasant alternative to the bustling business in New York. And, of course, nothing can compare to Miami Beach - a magnificent wide strip of white sand 25 miles long, washed by crystal-clear water of the Atlantic Ocean.

At the heart of Miami Beach is the area of Ocean Drive, on the east side which stretches sandy strip of urban beach. West side of Ocean Drive as it is separated from the rest of the city strip numerous cafes and restaurants. Here lived the late Gianni Versace, his admirers and worshipers still gather his home.

Miami is the best and most beautiful pool in the world, which for some reason is called the Venetian pool. Here is one of the best zoos in the world, and in Maximo Gomez Park, you can always see the picturesque small groups of Cuban elderly, enthusiastically playing dominoes. Gala and stunning in its expression of the Memorial to the victims of the Holocaust in contrast to the light and close atmosphere of the city.

Must see: Oceanarium. "Quarter ART DECO DISTRICT" - Included in the national register of monuments of architecture. Preserve Everglades - the largest in North America marshes humid subtropical climate - a paradise for rare plants and animals. Island of Key West - the most beautiful of the 28 coral islands, connected by 42 OVERSAS HIGH-WAY. Here lived Ernest Hemingway.
