The Park Based On "Avatar" Opens In Florida





The company will build a Disney theme park based on James Cameron's blockbuster "Avatar." The first of its kind park will appear in Walt Disney World in Florida, in the Animal Kingdom.

On the creation of new attractions, along with Disney will work James Cameron and producer of the film Jon Landau. According to the director, they want to move beyond existing technologies, and all known history, writes the Independent.

Construction of the park will begin in 2013 and will last at least five years. Upon completion of works park visitors can plunge into the magical atmosphere of "Avatar" and explore its mysterious world. Within the complex will house attractions, shops and restaurants.

Disney company spends millions of dollars to upgrade and improve the infrastructure of their parks. Last but not least thanks to Walt Disney World is the most popular theme park in the world. In 2011, there opened a new attraction dedicated to the epic "Star Wars".

Animal Kingdom, where 'Avatar' will be opened, attracts nearly 10 million visitors. With the appearance of new attractions the number of visitors will undoubtedly increase.
